About Tallahassee Fire Protection District

The Tallahassee Fire Protection District (TFPD) is a volunteer-driven department dedicated to protecting lives, property, and natural resources in western Fremont County, Colorado. Our firefighters respond to wildland and structure fires, vehicle accidents, medical assists, and other emergencies across a diverse and rugged landscape.

We are proud to serve our neighbors not only through emergency response but also by providing fire prevention education, community safety programs, and mutual aid to surrounding agencies.

TFPD is more than a fire department—it’s a community of volunteers, board members, and residents working together to keep our district safe and prepared.
